Our Formation and Our future

The formation of Searchlight Marine Survey began in 2021. I spent my career working in law enforcement and corporate security where small details were crucial to recognize. I wanted to find a way to utilize that experience and apply it to something else that I love and have a passion for; boating.

I enrolled into Navtech Surveying School where I gained a great deal of knowledge and learned how to conduct thorough marine surveys. This knowledge combined with my experienced career as a trained investigator and security professional gives me a unique and deep skillset that results in extensive and detailed surveys. And there is no better community to put that skillset to work than right here at home.

For more than 20 years I have been boating at Lake Ozark and have long been in love with the incredible surroundings and the amazing people. I saw this business as an opportunity to support this community and get people on the water in a safe vessel. And that is my focus; to support local boat owners and enthusiasts and help make boating a pastime accessible for more and more people to enjoy with their loved ones.
